Our Interflora Florists

Interflora is built on more than just 100 years of experience, it’s built on hundreds of years of combined floristry expertise across a dedicated network of over 900 florists. Florists with heritage, a story to tell and legacy to uphold, florists working within their local community to help it thrive and florists with their own individual floristry style. But most importantly, florists with the same goal of wrapping up your sentiments in a beautiful handmade bespoke bouquet and delivering it personally to your special person with care.

For the Cut ‘n’ Dried team it is all about creativity and knowing your customer.

Diane opened Cut ‘n’ Dried florist 1989 and has been with Interflora since the start. She got into floristry via an artistic friend who enjoyed arranging dried and silk flowers. “I used to babysit her youngest son and got into it with her. I was going to go into childcare, but I madly went into floristry, and now it is in my blood, it’s a bit of an addiction this job! Lynn has been with the business since 2021 and Verity, the newest recruit having recently trained, joined 9 months ago.

They all have their favourite floristry style; Verity likes a wild natural looking bouquet, Di likes pastels and Lynn prefers brighter blooms, so between them they can cover the whole range and cater to all customers needs. Verity explains: “even if you have an online order and don’t know that person, we can get a sense of the sentiment from the card massage and adjust the flowers to the occasion whether is congratulations for a new baby or a birthday.”

“And when it comes to wedding work, I tend to like the neat and tidy stuff, whereas Di is more into the looser more natural styles, so it works well. We like it when we get given a bit of free reign cause it’s nice when we can choose what to use, design it and have creative freedom” agrees Lynn.

It is Peony season right now, and so they are getting lots of wedding requests with peonies, Diane explains, “people love them for weddings - they symbolise wealth and a happy marriage. We do get asked for them all year, but I have to remind people they’re a seasonal flower, but I think that is why we like them so much!” Indeed, no-one wants to miss out on a floral icon.

Our Florists Are Award Winning

“Our Interflora Artisan Award meant so much to us it, it provided us with the recognition we needed from Interflora for all the hard work we put into creating the design’s and getting them delivered on time with great customer service and it is lovely to see our hard work was paying off.”

Our Florist FAQs

Re-cut the stems at an angle, they get an air-lock so quickly, especially roses, once it’s out of water that end will seal up and the head will droop - cut that end!

- Jodie, Flowers By Zoe

From a one week work experience placement to a full time job, I love it and get up to run work every Monday! In that week, it changed my life, it was like my calling! I loved being surrounded by flowers everyday and being able to create for customers and make them happy. Being able to create something beautiful for someone, for a loved one, it means a lot to me, I’ve grown as a person, it’s made me who I am today.

We cater for all sorts of occasions from the happiest ones to the saddest ones. Floristry has made me see funerals differently, and I feel that being able to do something special and unique for somebody that represents that persons character is actually quite a gift.

- Jonathon, Pavillion Flowers

I like pressure, I like the big weddings, I like the end achievements, the big designs, that bit of stress, I thrive on that.
